HPL & HRCE Hang – After School Monday-Thursday 3:30-4:30

Our HPL & HRCE Hang program is targeted for kids ages 8-13 (3rd through 8th grade) Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30.
Mondays will be hosted at Hesston Public Library and will involve a craft. Tuesdays & Thursdays will be hosted at Hesston Elementary School and focus on physical activity. Wednesdays will be hosted at Hesston Public Library and will feature hands-on activities.

REGSITRATION for HPL & HRCE Hang is appreciated.

  • Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at 75 cents per item.
  • Library materials are always available for checkout for free with a library card.


Math Academy

Dr. Frank Brenneman provides free assistance with math homework and tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Study Room.

Special Programs

Coming this fall, Adult and Me STEAM convention on Saturday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in cooperation with STEAMwSeniors to bring intergenerational scientific exploration to your local library! This program was made possible in part by the New Program/Project Grant from the South Central Kansas Library System.

Summer Library Program

Summer 2025 Summer Library Program has been announced! COLOR YOUR WORLD with every hue as we get ready to share all the colors of the rainbow and all the colors of the world next year! Check back for registration and activity details in Spring, 2025!
