Get ready for a summer of fun with activities from bonfire storytimes, animal ambassadors, pool parties and more! This year, Summer Library Program kicks off on May 23 at the library with a foam and bubble party, with hose-down service from our friends at Hesston Fire Department.

The New Year is bring better service to Hesston Public Library patrons’ fingertips!
We are pleased to announce the library’s hours are being restored beginning January 2. We will now be open at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with expanded hours until 7 p.m. on Thursday evenings and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday. The library will be closed from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursdays for staff meetings and trainings.
These expanded hours are in direct connection to additional funding received from the City of Hesston. The library is looking forward to serving the community with our restored hours.
In addition to new hours, the library’s website also has a new look. We are pleased to roll out our new website supported by our South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS) partners. With out new site you can find all of your critical information with increased efficiency. We have redesigned our site with mobile functionality in mind.
In addition to putting all of your library resources in one easy to navigate place, we have included information on transparency including Board of Trustees members, policy and Board of Trustee Meeting Minutes.
