Beyond the usual books, audiobooks, and movies, we have some special items in our collection for you to check out, including:

  • Expedition Packs: passes to local museums, zoos, and other points of interest.Β  Reserve the day(s) you want to use a Pack, up to 7 days at a time.Β  Check out the available destinations and dates HERE and then contact the library to make a reservation!
  • Teaching Trunks: kits designed for classroom use, with books, activities, and more on each of these themes: Hesston history, Kansas/Prairies, Tornadoes
  • Fishing Poles: check out for 7 days
  • Board games
  • Puzzles
  • Toys and puppets
  • Playaway Launchpads: tough tablets preloaded with select games
  • Playaway Views: preloaded video players
  • Shaped Cake Pans (We borrow these via interlibrary loan.Β  Please request a pan approximately 10 days in advance of the date you need it.)
  • And don’t forget our eLibrary and Digital Archives!

Also of note: through past grants, we have acquired many resources on the Amish & Mennonites, Quilting, and Trauma, among other collections.
